Customer just been on the phone, says she has a White Knight washing machine. ❓

    Model WK1400V.

I didn’t even know that White Knight had a washer on the market. 😳

Anyone know who makes this machine. Report of instant spin on wash so sounds like a motor tacho/module fault.

    I think you’ll find it’s a re-badged Beko. 😉

Yes, just had a quick Google and the pics do look Beko-ish. Worth going along to have a look then. Just wanted to make sure it wasn’t Chinese. 😥

I worked on a White Knight washer about 5 years ago which was a Philco.

Thanks Mike, I did also do a BEKO with this exact fault a few weeks back, turned out be a broken wire at the motor plug.

I do have a couple of burnt out BEKO motors so I could always scavenge a tacho or magnet from one of those if needs be.

    Update.

Twas not a BEKO, but it was a product of Turkey. Vestel if I’m not mistaken.

She had moved house recently and the washer did not have the transit bolts refitted. The motor plug had worked loose breaking the connection to the tacho.
