    Model CL447 The blower fan is adrift, not stripped right down, just felt into vent.

    Entered the code in SIOS and it came up with what appears to be correct part, Fan 481951528127. Is it likely to be just a fan failure or are there any fixings required, also how difficult a job is this to change?

    Easy peasy – lower rear cover off, undo motor bracket from underneath, pull pin from fan chamber cover and twist it, the whole lot pulls out backwards.

    Cheers Chris, I may have made a mistake but I’m sure the dryer I saw had model number CL447VW, yet the Whirlpool one that comes up on SIOS is CL447WV, 😕

    I sort of guessed that 😉 , I am certain the White Knight one had VW on it though, will check when I return.

    Its deffo CL447WV

    According to me, the part no of the fan you require is 412307740895

    Also I think you’ll find that WV means White Vented
    Ie SV = silver vented
    BV = Blue Vented etc

    Hopes this helps

    Richard

    EDIT. For any future readers please note the actual part number is 421307740895. iadom.
