Can I ask if I put my white sneakers into my washing machine, will it wreck my washing machine? The washing machine has rubber barriers things.

If it is safe, what should I do to protect the washing machine drum? What settings should I use?

    Front or top loader?

Plastic paddles or metal (part of the drum)?

Generally speaking, trainers or sneakers if you hold a US passport (;)) in the washer is usually a bad idea.

    thanks for your post kwatt!

yes washing machine is a front loader and the paddles are plastic

ok..understood…i just heard people putting their sneakers in the washing machine…they said you just need to put it into a bag (e.g. pillow) so it doesn’t ruin the drum

but before I do that, I thought I would check first!

Kleeneze and possibly Bettaware and Lakeland do sell trainer washing bags. I have just had a look on the Kleeneze site, it appears to be a mesh bag with foam paddings. I suppose that if you did use one of them and it damaged your machine you could sue Kleeneze. 😉

    Only £6.00
