White Westinghouse Door Gasket

Hello

My mother has an old White Westinghouse WH871 tumble dryer. The machine is working perfectly but the door gasket (the rubber seal, I think it’s called a gasket 😳 ) has perished. This is resulting in all the lint/fluff blowing out into the room when the dryer is on.

I’ve tried all the local parts places without success. I’m wondering if a gasket from a modern tumble dryer would fit, or if there’s some remote source where I could get a replacement.

I’m not sure on the dimensions of gasket as it’s pretty much all disintegrated!

Any advice – besides buying a new machine! 😉
