White Westinghouse Integrated Fridge Freezer

Great site. Have already had one successful repair from here.

Hope someone can help with this one….

I have a White Westinghouse integrated fridge freezer (model 02-200190) which has stopped cooling. It is 10 years old and I have not had any problems with it before.

An engineer has quoted £190 for the compressor + £26 for the gas + £60 labour … so I am looking at =~ £300 and there is no guarantee that a new compressor will fix the problem or that something else won’t go.

Therefore I have to look at the option of replacing the unit. The size of the existing fridge/freezer is W-540mm, D-530mm and H-1560mm and it is a pretty tight fit. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement fridge freezer of about the same size WITH fitting and disposal of the old unit ?

Or would it be worthwhile spending about £300 getting it repaired ?

Any help / ideas / opinions would be greatly appreciated.
