Who are Sovereign?

I am asking a favour on behalf of one of my neighbour’s. She has a Sovereign Washing Machine 1200 Spin. We think the model number is SHL10007.

The machine has gone off this morning, and despite changing the fuse, refuses to do anything. It is a rather simple machine. She has lost her owners manual which contains details of how to obtain service under warranty.

Does anybody know who Sovereign are & who their service agents are?

Sovereign is an imported brand which has been in the UK for the last couple of years. We sell a couple of refrigeration products which don`t seem to bad for a budget appliance, I`ve not seen a washer though. Sovereign service can be contacted on 08706 077270.

Bless you Don, I shall go next door now with the number.
I must admit I have never heard of them, but my neighbour tells me it was cheap £139 & has a two yr warranty. – Looking at it, it is a very basic machine.

Yeah so far as we know they’re made in Chine by Haier.

Cheap as chips and based on lots of experience of Haier, not very good would be understatement of the year. 😉

My neighbour has just rang to tell me, her son has come and looked at it. Apparently the trip switch had gone knocking all the kitchen sockets off. It has been reset and all appears well.
