I think I know what you mean and, unless it’s a setting you can alter in the board preferences for an individual account then, no, afraid not as that’s the default with the newest post first.

Scroll down, hit the “View new posts” and it’ll cut it down considerably.

Not a criticism, as the new format appears to be a huge step forward visually, and maybe not a new issue, but can the spell checker be easily changed to British English from US English? (eg centre not center)
