who sleeps here?

just wondered how many people get a full nights sleep here,i regularly trawl the forums from 7ish,it amazes me at the number of members who are up till 3 or 4am replying to questions/topics,how do they do that and still get up in the morning,i personally need at least 6hrs sleep,your views 🙂 🙂 🙂

I am often up doing bearing changes at 3 or 4 in the morning I just cannot seem to leave the job alone ! Then I am up and brighteyed and bushy tailed at 6 to get to my first cusomers house who I know will be so glad to see me !!

You may get a shock one day as I did on an early call.
A few years ago when I worked for a company the girl in the office booked a call for me for 5am as the customer works nights.
I knocked on the door and the man opened the door in pink boxer shorts and he had a glass eye but his eye was missing so I was just looking at his empty eye socket he said he had just got into bed but to carry out the repair and let myself out when finished.
After the call I phoned the girl in the office and told her, she had a sense of humour as she laughed and replied he had told her he would keep an eye out for me.

P.S. NEVER IN BED BEFORE 2PM UP BEFORE 6AM

Penguin was always the latest person on here, many a night at silly o clock i’d spot him answering questions.

Well, it’s a plus that there’s a few of us night owls around. Public and trade can get their questions answered 24/7.
Me, I get up about 8.30am or later. Sometimes make an exception on a nice sunny morning. Can often be at work at 6/7pm though as customers are home from work.

Years ago i was at a customers house doing a tub repair at 1AM.
That turned into a 4 year relationship. 😛

that ended 6 years ago… hope her machine is still giving her a good service… I ain’t. 😉
