ParticipantSo, Friday Martin says “Who’s minding the shop?”; Ken says he’s camping in S. Scotland (What was it K – Satphone link?) and I said “Thought he’d left it to us youngsters for the weekend”.
Came down in the morning and it had all fallen over. IT WASN’T US – HONEST!

Actually that was my supposition, (which was lost in the recent database crash) I figured if Dave was heading north, Ken was heading south and Kevin meeting in the middle, that they must all have been out camping in Dumfries & Galloway somewhere gazing into their crystal balls?

ParticipantDidn’t foresee this little lot though, did they?Trouble with crystal balls is they smog up after about 1980.

Avoiding oldtog on his honda 50 😆
Thanks Kev how did you know I used to own a Honda 50, and it had a fairing yup. It was brill. 😆
After 35 years of non bike riding (Honda 50) last year as some of you know I bought a Kawasaki (not a drink P45), yep a Kawasaki GPZ500 and I love riding it, but only in the fine weather. 😯 😯
Martin I thought everyone knew who the OT was. I was and am not afraid of using my real name, its just that sometimes peaple wont comment if they know who you are. 8) Anomnimity does have some rewards and some lows. However I am just an OT and I am feeling my age 😡 untill I get on the bike, hide my face in the space helmet and wear armour plated clothing and boots. 8) 8)
It sure makes me appreciate the bikers 😕 and thier vulnability when I am driving the van.
Bike details; Insurance £150 fully com, road licence less than £50 per year and will do 200miles on less than £8. 😆 😆 😆
Going back into my cage now OT

And I wasn’t camping, just on a mission. 😉

KeymasterNa, it was no-one’s fault really.
The database used has something like a 50Mb limit on it and, if we exceeed that, then what happened happens. 🙁 I was talking to Li about it the other day and I’ve spoken to Trevor about it too and, being the stars they are, they’re going to institute a nightly backup of the database in addition to the ones we do as well.
But with the tracking and stats, the volume of posts, the number of hits and in particular bloody Amazon it’s a lot of data to deal with these days, the primary culprit being the Amazon cache. That has already been automated to dump the excess data by Trevor and his coding skills though. 😉
Let me put it this way…Trevor (who IS a code genius) couldn’t believe the database was stuffed in a week so now we’re watching it a lot more closely.
