Not done one before. What’s best way in? Front looks a bit difficult and back even more so. As far as I could see there were two screws holding the front on from under the top panel but I thought I could see a couple more down towards the bottom, though I might have been mistaken; lots of dust. Do these commonly break their belts or have they been cramming too much in?
Drums seems to turn nice and free.
Also how are you supposed to get those strange clips that hold the lid on at the back, back the way they (with difficulty) came out 😕

    Easy job Mike.
The strange clips are actualy lid hinges, take out the the screws on the clips, take the filter out and you will see two screws there to remove. Then push the lid forward from the back and pull upwards on the front of the lid, it will hinge up from front to back, be careful here as the clips might fall out. Disconnect the door microswitch and then take out the two screws at the top of the front panel. Pull the front panel up and it will release the hooks that hold the bottom of the panel on and it should be obvious from there on in.

16mins. I had to wait for that answer! What’s this place coming to? 😆
    Cheers John.

Let us know how you get on with this. I had to change a door switch on one of these a few weeks back but a belt change looked like it might be a nightmare job.

Thanks John. That was easy like you said. Makes you wonder why they can’t make domestic ones that easy.
Phidom, it’s worth mentioning that the drum hangs loose, held only by the rear wheels, as you remove the front. I’m sure you’ll cope.
There’s instructions in the packet with the belt.
    Mike.
