Whp AWD3551 query

Customer has knocked off the start switch and damaged the large facia board.
Whirlpool lass was adamant there is a timer and the facia board on this model and from the pic both parts are shown. I can’t remember seeing the other so can anyone shed any light on this.

hi.

if what you see and there isnt a timer knob, i wouldnt take the lass at whirlpool word to be gospel.

sorry i cant tell you about the machine, but sometimes the operators you speak to arent always right.

i would suggest ringing whirlpool again, and hope someone else answers the phone who is more clued up.

if you get a different answer from another person, that may draw your conclusion.

She’s sent me the diagram with both shown on it too. Tried to tell her that it was probably an either/or but she wouldn’t have it.
Rang five times on Wednesday and she answered every time. Probably the only one awake 😉
