Why does Maytag toploader continuously fill on rinse cycle?

Hiya,

I work part-time in a launderette and one of our Maytag toploaders continously fills on the 6 minute rinse cycle – its stuck there!

I know I’m committing a cardinal crime by not including the model number but I do have a pic:

Because its a bank holiday weekend this Duty Slave has no intention of going anywhere near his place of servitude until Tuesday – so if a model number is necessary I’ll get it then.

In the meantime, if anyone knows what the problem might be, or where to begin looking, I would be very grateful! 😀
