Snap! Two punctures in a week! Think it’s worse when the roads are wet; the bramble thorns don’t blow away in the wind.

Snap!! Fuel gauge on the Vito has jammed on empty….so it’s been “guess the fuel level” this week. :rolls: No time ATM to get it fixed, even using their out of hours service. Can’t risk filling the tank too much just in case I can get it fixed so it’s £40 fill up every 3 days and hope….
Better get that bike fixed Mike; I might have to borrow it at this rate. 😆Steve.

Steve.
What’s wrong with the guage stick? 😆
You can borrow my spare bike if you pop in to the bike shop on the way out of town and pay them their fiver to true up the back wheel. 😀

The nice man who picked me up last night 😳 ….er, Green Flag bloke, tested my starter motor and insisted that it was the problem, showing me with his ‘power probe’ (ooer missus 😯 ) that a live or neut to the starter would do no good. Spent all day looking for a 16mm socket (story in itself :rolls: ) to get the damn thing off, fitted new (recon) one at £100 and ………….no different 😈
So nice early start in the wifes car to get some calls completed from today and then back at the van.
I’d take it into the garage if I could bump start the damn thing loaded by myself:rolls:TC

Hmm. 150ml can, how much space does it take up and what weight? Might be worth it in this weather I suppose.
Wouldn’t have saved me today though.. 3rd puncture in a week, stop to pump it up, unscrew valve locknut (presta) and it comes off 😕 , I drop it and lose it in grass :rolls: . 8 miles from home. Luckily only 3 jobs to do and all within a mile of there so hid and locked bike, walked round, and then took bus home.
Step on bus, single to Penzance please… £3.55 😯 . Nearly stepped back off again. Got to pay same again tomorrow to return with new tube (say £5). Expensive week!
