    Ken,

When I asked you if you wanted any monies for White Goods you told me NO. 😡 Now I see that you need to, to get further benifits!

Re: Why Subscribe To UK Whitegoods?

    Hi Bill,

At the time you asked it was in a slightly different context and, ifI recall, at the time the subscriber fund didn’t exist. The point of it is is that it’s your own money invested in doing what you all want to do with it, UKW donates using some of the advertising revenue from the site from Google and Amazon. The Amazon module, if you guys use it, also pays a percentage of every sale made from a clickthrough from UKW, so you can donate more into the pot by doing that at zero cost. All revenues from both Google and Amazon are paid directly into the subscribers account which gives it a nice little bonus, free gratis, I think in the past twelve month swe’ve probably paid in about £800 or so to the subs fund. 😉

Quite where the subscriber fund will go in time or what it will do has yet to be decided and, as Kevin pointed out, it is a topic that’s up for discussion at Sibson in September.

But if you want to subscribe then by all means please do so, the more the merrier so far as I’m concerned. Just PM or email Dave for details as he’s been put in charge of handling that bit.
    K.
