wil 163 flashing

hi there,i have a washer wil 163,the problem is when i choose one of these programs on it,2,8,9,10,11 the lights start flashing the same,the lights that flash are,delay time
stain removal
easy iron
extra rinse
door lock
basically all of the top one and one that says 9h with a spin symbol.if i choose any other program it works fine,,thanks for any advice given

Difficult to say, it is not a recognised error code, do those lights flash as soon as you try to select a programme or after it has started?

Like all Indesit machines made in the past 8 to 10 years it does have very flaky electronics than give all manner of strange faults.

A visual inspection and an electrical test of all components for continuity and insulation is all I can suggest, apart from the obvious of course. 😉

they flash as soon as i chooses a cycle,i have give it a visual and all looks ok,no blow capacitors or nothing,it weird as i checked the carbon brushes i think they are called and they need replacing,i just pulled them out a bit to get it going to make sure it was only them i needed

If brushes are in need of replacement then you should not attempt to get anymore out of the worn brushes, it can lead to further damage.
