ParticipantHaving searched the forum for the brand name “Dunavox” and drawn a blank, I thought I would mention it here.
As part of a complete kitchen refit we decided to incorporate a built under wine cooler as part of the layout. I only buy Liebherr refrigeration appliances, as they are in my limited experience, far superior to anything else at a reasonable price. All our family have them as a result!
However, on this occasion, the budget dictated that we look for a reasonable alternative at a lower price point.
I landed on Dunavox. They seem of pretty heavy construction for a domestic appliance and well screwed together. They are apparently made in Hungary which was encouraging, seeing as it wasn’t a rebadged Asian appliance. We bought a dual zone built under cooler in dark brown trim, glass door.
After 18 months, it’s been terrific. Enough bottle capacity, two independently adjustable temperature zones. Quiet and has been no trouble whatsoever so far. I can’t say what after sales support is like because we haven’t needed it.
From our 18 months ownership, we’re very happy with the Dunavox wine cooler. It was a bit of a risk perhaps. I hadn’t heard of them before buying. But on this occasion, the Dunavox gets full marks from me.
If anyone else finds themselves with a budget constraint, the Dunavox looks a decent alternative to the regular premium brands.
I have no connection to the company beyond happily owning the appliance for the last 18 months. Hope this helps someone.

KeymasterA little digging and I can’t see that they have production facilities and, to produce that range they have would require a fair bit of it.
All I could find out is that they are less than 20 years old, nothing specific, and they specialise in import and distribution of wine cabinets.
To go from a standing start to providing a wide range of refrigeration units is, at best, improbable.
I have a sneaky feeling that a lot of them will be rebadged Chinese units that, pretty much everyone and their dog uses. I may be wrong of course as the info is limited but, what I can find does point to that.
