As above i changed the front PCB in this as the sticker was damaged and water had corroded the old one. Sometimes when you switch it on the display shows P27 and you have to switch it off and back on a couple of times to enter normal operation.

It seemed to work fine other than this when i was on site but apparently now it keeps needing to be topped up with water manually as the level keeps dropping through the day.

Ive checked all the parameters and everything seems in order but i am working from an old WPS sheet i downloaded from the internet so can’t be 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}.

    Any help much appreciated.

Hi, P27 is the parameter for the external dosing strip. This has a shortcut via certain buttons on the diplay PCB. I have changed this board many times and through experience I check the buttons are all working/ not being pressed against the front panel before nipping up the securing nuts. I would slacken them slightly and move the pcb then rescure to see if this works. I presume the button facia is OK and isn’t pressing in against the buttons?

As for losing water, the unit should maintain its correct level via the pressure tranmitter. i.e. only drain off when the level is too high. A possibility is the mediamat on the wash system. If these don’t work correctly more water than designed is put down the drain when washing but in reality it could be lots of things, patially blocked pressure chamber, faulty pressure transmitter(or more likely a poor electrical connection)

Thanks for that Barrie, I have parameter 27 set at 1 as it has the esp 166 detergent pump.
The parameter sheet I have does look like if you press the two right buttons together then switch the machine on it goes direct to p27.

I was only on site for a couple of hours but it seemed to fill inbetween washes ok when I was there. Also it won’t start when the water level is low so over the phone I asked the guys to top it up with the hose and they said they heard ta clunk (heating contactor pulling in I presume)and then it would wash which suggests the pressure switch is ok.
I I need to go back and try actuating the drain pump then seeing if the readout drops (just read about this on the parameter/fault code sheet!)

Also now I come to think of it when I was going through the parameters it scrolled back to p00 by itself a couple of times so you may be on the money with one of the buttons being partially pressed by the frame or the facia
