Wiring an EGO 50.57021.016 Iinto an Ariston Hob KM6002 H

Hi guys, got a little problem I could do with some help on.

Customer called with a burnt out simmerstat on an Ariston Hob – KM6002H. I ordered the correct part from Connect and went to site. When I got there I found out that Mr DIY had decided he didnt need the 4th zone on the hob and disconnected the stat and taped up the wiring.

Now, I confess to never having opened up a hob before but I have no idea how to wire the Ego part back in ! At the moment with the 4th regulator not fitted this happens –

Left front ring – goes full on no matter what setting its on
Left Rear ring – full on like the front left
Right Rear – functions fine
Right front – disconnected

I spent a bit of time trying to work out what went where but it eludes me – HELP !!
