The new regulator is not identical to the old one and am unsure which wire goes where. Would appreciate it if someone could tell me how to connect up the old regulator to the new model No. 50 57071 010.

Best to contact whoever supplied the part, we’re not supposed to give technical info out as its difficult to accertain the competance of the poster.
8/ Please do not ask for wiring diagrams, schematics or for us to sort out any wiring problems over the internet. We cannot judge how competent you are nor the future readers of any thread, we’ll try to point you in the right direction but that’s as far as we can legally go
