Wirlpool dishwasher ADG 7470 Fault code 5

Good afternoon folks, Still refusing to let my integrated dishwasher die gracefully!
This time i’m getting error code 5 – five intermittent flashes. Tried resetting the m/c by pressing the start button for 2 seconds close the door let it drain for 60 seconds, so far do good. Then tried a wash cycle it gets about 3/4 minutes in and stops. I can hear water getting in and being drained but that’s it. Ran a diagnostic test: Select rinse cycle, turn off, press and hold start button and turn back on when light starts flashing let go , press start button and close door. This should run a 12 minute test cycle (I think) but after 3 mins I get a continuous beep, beep ….. you get the point. open the door and the led is showing error code 5. I thought this was spray arms blocked so I took them off altogether but still the same? Filters are all clean. Anyone got any ideas what this might be before I start taking it apart. TBH I’m trying to a avoid taking it out because its a pain to put back (integrated).There was some debris in the spray arms.

Thanks Dave,
Ended up stripping out and splitting the motor and pump. Found a piece of glass had wedged itself in the impeller – removed that, reassembled and ran it. it seems to work great. But…

Problem now is that it appears to be stuck on the program, it just continues and never ends. I can stop it and drain it down by opening the door and pressing the start button and holding done for a couple of seconds. So far I’ve only tried it on the ECO program. Also tried the fault identification test above but nothing came up. Heating and pumping water fine.

Is there a full reset for this machine? If so do you have the sequence? Or could this e something else?

the eco programmes gp on forever say 3 hours or so
