😥 Following armature problems with commutator arcing after carbons replacment, and machine refusing to go into spin cycle, decided to replace motor.
The machine functions as it did before in all its programmes except spin, there is on this model a variable spin selector could this be the problem.Or are we looking at the PC board replacement.

Re: WM65 Aquarius 1200 spin problem

I have never had a fault in the small potentiometer that controls the variable spin, other than what I call the ‘ half term syndrome’ the grandchildren messing with the controls and turning the knob to the ‘no spin’ setting. 😉 Control unit is the most likely cause, but can be pressure switch on rare occasions.

PS. It would help continuity if you had posted this in your original thread. 😉

Anyway, as a Man Utd fan I don’t think I can be bothered to help you anymore. 😆 8) (only joking)

😆 The faulty motor must have taken out the spin control on the PCB or the progammer which is all one unit on this model.Anyhow replaced the progamme unit and the machine is back to normal service.
Just thought I would reply in case anyone else is stuck out there with a similar problem.
Many thanks for your replies and quips the site is very helpful and a great idea.
