You are in for a hiding for nothing on this one. 🙁 No way will any form of lagging, insulation, sealing with varnish or such like, solve the problem? 😕 It’s just not possible!
The only acceptable environment is cool, dry and well ventilated. Not stuck in a green box outside like a wheelie bin!!!!
There is a ‘Housing Association’ site (posh term for Council estate) near me where some residents put their washers and dryers in an outside lock-up….! Several have put these WMA’s and Whirlpool AWM6000 series machines in and all of them have gone bang at some time or other. Every machine I have written off there, they have since bought new and moved their machine indoors out of the damp….the only way Jose’ 😉
