as said before we hit them with a hammer and then they come undone

Perhaps we get a better class of corrosion round here. Are you in a hard water area?

I’ve tried brute force, heat etc, the drill is the only way for me. 8)

    yeah hard water here
a good hard hit and a decent torx bit
    worked every time
we have a ratchet with a metal tube fixed to it which gives a bit of extra leaverage
need a new torx bit every approx ten shaft changes
but they only cost us £3.50 for the hardened one

On the only one I have done the heads were so rusty they burred as soon as any pressure put on them so I had to drill.

Same here, the soft water must get at them, no amount of bashing would shift 95{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the ones I come across.
