Customer rang me yesterday re above machine. Says machine fills ok but no wash action, but on completion of fill prewash light flashes continuously and door lock light goes out, enabling door to open as she found out when kitchen flooded. She said water level looked about right. If spin and drain is selected, machine will empty and spin ok.
Job is long way out so don’t want to make two trips.
    any ideas

    Thanks john

Prewash light flashing is a fill related problem, more than likely a blocked sump hose/filter.

Door unlocking can sometimes be a module fault though.

Try running the ‘Last Error’ test found on page 2 of the Error Codes thread.

It is possible for that to happen, I have seen colour catchers and other similar items restricting the water from tripping the pressure switch by blocking of the pressure chamber whilst still allowing the pump to drain.

Also had the odd one completely gunged up in the pressure chamber.
