Unfortunately your question cannot be answered for you, as this machine had both sizes of bearing dependant on the build.

Look at the rear of the tub as you
May find markings there to help you.

Will add: once tank out of the casing because there is no back to the machine as such to get the pulley wheel off, remove the pulley wheel (13mm socket). From the rear bearing you can tell which kit you`ll need: 30mm shaft size rear bearing is a 6205 size= about 52 mm diameter. The 35mm shaft rear bearing is a 6206 size i.e. bigger at about 98mm both measurements taken across the diameter of the bearing and obviously not the hole size! Point 1: Hotpoint as far as I am aware no longer supply the bearings kit for the 30mm shaft kit-obsolete with them BUT Qualtex do a good pattern kit part number BKT85, and have just reintroduced the 30 mm spider WITH the bearings kit part number Quaunt21. The Qualtex bearing kit only for the 35mm shaft is BKT81, the spider is C00117329 Hotpoint part number, can`t find the Qualtex one. Point 2: buy a new tank seal also. Point 3 if the drum really is wobbling you might need a new shaft (spider shaft) which bolts on to the rear of the s/steel tank- they get badly damaged if the machine has been thrashed with collapsed front bearing that goes in to shrapnel mode- not a plus! Point 4: if so you have several options, scrap it there and then on costs, replace the spider which can be tricky as the screws probably won`t come out requiring drilling them out, or buy a complete tank unit C00112679 assembly which was/still available (?) but of course is even more expensive than the spider unit-by one hell of a lot!! Best of luck.

I’m aware of the strip down as i’ve done many but never knew a way of telling what bearing was needed till it was stripped !

The washing machine hasnt broke down for 8 years so im expecting the worst for spares on a whole but the bearing isnt showing 8 years … just a little play but me thinks it need shocks, springs, bearings and brushes and does NOT want to change the machine what the cost even though i told her it would need a total overhaul

Well these machines are better than their new efforts!
Look the best thing you do is firstly don`t buy anything yet until you visually see the condition of the spider- so dismantle it first.
Common things that need replacing at 8 years are the motor brushes, the outlet hose, probably the pump, the door seal, the door hinge if the door has dropped to the door lock and the hinges plastic bearings, clean the sump filter and the air trap attached to it,and check the element for limescale. All these parts you can buy pattern but I would not skimp and buy cheap motor brushes of which there are several different ones for several types of motors they fitted to this model so buy the proper ones based on your motor make e.g. fph, bosch and there is another one I can`t remember.
Make a list, go to hotpoints web site and look up the parts and prices and part numbers then go to e-bay and you`ll find practically all the parts you`ll need but without having to pay fancy hotpoint parts prices. I would only buy the genuine brushes for any machine unless I know the quality-some cheap brushes are the wrong grade and the powder dust can clog the armature segments causing expensive results- as Bosch £2.90 pattern cheap as chips brushes are well known for this to much expense 2 weeks down the line after a repair!

Oh i forgot best add a new belt to the list. Of course you may not need all these parts;- see previous post, but this is a typical guide as what to expect if you intend to,well, basically rebuild the thing as you only really want to do it once. You`ll have to add it all up and then decide what to do if anything or buy a new machine………..though what is the question as I have great difficulty recommending anything made these days but if this becomes a question ask some other members and see what they suggest…. I`m more-or-less retired from the industry now- at last freedom!
