    Hi all
I dont know if its been mentioned before but I have just recieved a wma spider & bearing kit from seme £26.73+ which has a spider, a bearing kit with a new type of seal ( no poxy spring ) and also the fun bit for me 6 spider bolts 😯 .
hpt 1604770 if any one is interested.
Unfortunatly I also wasted £10 on 6 bolts at the same time 🙁

Its called a ‘Premier Bearing Kit’ 😆
been available for a while, the seal is a Rubena seal and does seem to be more reliable, time will tell. 😉
Part number of complete bearing kit is 1604473

Strangely enough, I fitted a complete drum assy yesterday, that came with the heater in a bag with the two plastic suspension doofers and six spider torx bolts.??

The Hotpoint engineers have a giant, ‘T’ shaped, cork-screw, tool thingy.

They use that thing to screw into the old doofers, rid ’em out, and just throw them away, and use the new ones.

Wasteful eh? But I bet it saves alot of time.

    Insert smutty inuendo here “……………….. ” 😀

Personally I grip them tight with my mole grips, depress the small lug then tap them out with a small hammer to start, then pull out with the grips.

You can use a 13mm ring spanner on the back end of the suspension pegs to depress the lug.
