Went to a WMA60P today which keeps throwing the belt
off for no apparent reason. I have fitted new belts on 2 other occasions
but usually have to go back every 6 months or so to refit…
whilst I dont mind its a nice little earner I was wondering if there is
something im missing…..bearings seem fine and no movement in
drum I can tell….only difference is that it has a plastic pulley?

    Any ideas Cheers Col

If belt and bearings are ok id go for the pulley itself

Sorry didnt mention but pulley seems fine as far as I
can tell…..no access to it from the back but
if I tap it with a screwdriver it rings ok…if that makes
sense as its not metal!!! but no thud sound as if
    cracked or something!!!!!

If pulley had gone it would throw it after 2 loads and sound horendous (i think that how you spell it? 🙂 ) on spin. Last ones ive seen you would feel by hand easily

Not quite 😉 If you use Internet Explorer 7 then why not download this little utility. http://www.iespell.com/

You can use it for all on line postings. It now works via the right click menu, type your post, highlight everything, right click, select ‘Check Spelling’ . Make sure you alter the default language settings from English US to English UK.

    Jim.

PS. ‘horrendous’ was the only one it spotted in this post. 8)

I had one once that had cracked the front single motor mount bracket on the tub. All appeared ok until it had a load in which caused motor to flap and throw belt off.
