Did you tilt it back to drain it?

You need to check the pump itself for continuity/resistance.

The pump will not get a feed if the drum is completely empty .

Didn’t tilt it just lowered the pipe till the waste water drained out .

Did a full wash again and got same code (F05) machine still full of water.

Will test for continuity what sort of ohms should I be expecting??

Testing for resistance you should get around 165?.

If pump is OK then sadly the main pcb is the likely culprit. 🙁

    Re: WMD960 won’t pump

Thank you. I’m getting resistance of over 160 😥

Basically what happened was I put a load on and went out, came back all the power was out in the house. Went down to find the washing machine had snapped a spring. turned power on lifted drum and set it going again to see if machine totally broken or not, every thing seemed ok but never let it finish. so thought I’d get new springs dampers and bearings while it was apart now I’ve invested to much lol so guess it’s a new PCB to add to the list.

It says the ones I can get aren’t programmed??? How do you get them programmed???
    Or program them ???

A pity you didn’t mention the broken spring and the power outage in the first place. :rolls:

Are the bearings in need of replacement? If they are and the pcb is indeed damaged then I advise you to cut your losses and invest in a new machine.

You cannot programme the £100+ pcb yourself unless you also invest in a £20 smart card and a £103 card reader.
