    Hi,
the above washing machine has the following fault – you select any program and the door locks but thats about it, it just sits dormant. The ins appears fine, im sure ive heard the motor can do this (its a brushless motor).
    Any ideas where to look?
    Thanks

If you’ve checked everything I would be looking at the module. I get a lot of them unfortunately. Seem to get more of it on the WMD models, including no fill problems that are module faults. Definately worth disconnecting the module, give the edge connectors a squeeze and trying it first though.

Check the board heat sink for signs of damage. Small marks on the fins will indicate contact from the motor. Normally caused board to blow when the motor hits it. This is normally caused by worn dampers or overloading.
