WML540 hot and cold fill?

Someone rang me today wanting to know how much to fit a cold intake valve to a WML540. On querying her about it she got the info off the hindernet. But the strange thing she mentioned (apart from it being a recon) was that it had two hoses going in, red and blue. I thought they were all cold fill now. Then again it might have had a WML front but god knows what was inside :rolls:

Funny you should say that, cust of mine today who had been looking for new machine insisted he had seen a washer in asda with 2 fill pipes?

my experience of certain types of customers, is that they cannot distinguish the difference between fill and drain hoses.

if theres one thing ive remembered, is to take a large enough pinch of salt to taste yuck with everything a customer says.

even the early uk chassis rebuilds (the first wmls used the old wf shells) of a wml 540 had only one fill – cold.
