    Hi all.

    I have a Worcester 25CDi combination boiler.

The door that is located at the bottom that you push to open that flips open downwards and allows you access to the controls is broken.

One of the plastic hinges, i.e. the mail tiny male connecter if it were that slots into the hole on the boiler, has snapped off, so the door will not hold in place anymore.

Am wondering if it is possible to buy a replacement door, or whether it’s easy to fix? I guess if a little tiny plastic piece could be glued back on then that would work. Not sure how to make one / where to get one though.

It’s about a matchstick thickness, but only a couple of millimetres long that has snapped off.

Does anyone know where one could be bought, or have any suggestions on how to fix it?

    Hi

Worcester Bosch will be able to supply a new flap or put a fine long screw in from the side.

This forum doesn’t cover boilers .. Sorry

    Hi there Bryan,

Thanks for the reply. I managed to get a reply from Worcester and they have pointed me in the right direction.

I’ll see whether I can fix it using your advice first though, since it’s around £40 for a new cover.

Otherwise I guess I’ll have to go order one.

    Thanks again though, much appreciated.

    😀
