Only had time for a quick breeze through it. A glaringly obvious a missing on the header line. An odd full stop and one th that should be the (second line in, Things do Break) also a milage missing an e near bottom of first paragraph.
No doubt Chris will come up with plenty more but the red wine has kicked in and I am feeling tired. 😉

No real problem with the actual text; overall a good summary. Punch line is poor. If we take a view that energy efficiency statements are now compulsory pn the sales tickets for these machines, we should be adding to that. Prodiuction energy and expected life cycle with “normal use” is something we should be lobbying for on that sales ticket.
IMO, of course……..

One on thermistors as I’m fed up having to explain it over and over. 😉
With a bit of altering it can apply to washers as well which, TBH, some of the trade could be doing with reading as well. :rolls:

Not to sure about the line ‘we get fed up of having to answer’ perhaps ‘we are constantly having to answer’ would be less aggressive even though you really are ‘fed up’
It also looks as though there should be a hyperlink on the second line of the ‘Understanding Frost Free Refrigeration’ passage where it says (in this section)

KeymasterAltered, I guess it was a bit strong. 🙂
I’ve left the links off for a number of reasons, for now.

Not sure about this heading, 😕
My washing machine power won’t fill with water, what can I check?
There is one ‘machein’ in the ‘My washing machine sticks…’ paragraph.
You could add, there may be some water in the machine to the ‘Door won’t open paragraph.
PS. Some old wives tales are true, I can confirm that belts of all kinds do stretch with age and use. 8) I can provide pictures if required. 😀

I’ll have a look. 🙂
I know that some do but, as a general rule they don’t these days IME. Usually they run off true and shred themselves or you’d get a burning smell etc. but I don’t want to give everything away. 😉
