Excellent article as always, I just hate the use of American spellings, its sceptical, even in Scotland. 😉
Also the word banded is out of context, in this article it should be bandied about with an i. 😉

Just perusing the ISE site.
You need to add a ‘d’ to the end of evolve in the 4th paragraph on the homepage. 😉
PS. There are adds now appearing all over the site for cheap appliances, Comet £99 repair service etc, but unless you are digging deeply or are lucky enough to stumble on a page with the ISE banner and link at the top of the page you wouldn’t know ISE existed. Surely it should have some presence however small on the homepage?

Can you give me the domain for the Comet thing, not seen that. As soon as I know that I’ll ban that one too, which should bring the banned ads to about 90.
The ISE thing is a bit of a conundrum.
If you go OTT promoting it, you’re biased.
If you under promote it, well…
Bearing in mind that there is several articles about it or with deep links embedded to promote ISE and more than a few posts in the forums about it as well.
The homepage is a work in progress though, there’s a lot more I can do with it and I do intend to. But, I do need some time to get my head round a lot of what can be done as I don’t want to be dull and do the same thing everyone else does, it’s just boring. 😉
The ISE leaderboard is the first one I’ve done, without John directing, and I’m not completely convinced about my shabby effort. Along with, I have to consider the implications for UKW online sales and also those of dealers as well and the consideration of advertising revenues, it’s all a delicate balancing act.
I do have some ideas though. I’m too busy fire-fighting ATM sorting out the content to put too much time into it with any degree of finesse and that’s why I haven’t done much thus far. I will though.
Sorted the “d” BTW, ta. 😉
Any errors across any of the sites and ways to make them better, more accurate, more much of anything are gratefully welcome as I’m probably missing loads of stuff.
And my head hurts. 😕

Yeah, it takes a while for Google to get them logged as not allowed. It’ll get there eventually, as shown in the pic.

Is that one for GDA in Enfield just under the Comet one in the image I posted on the banned list as well?

GDA is still There in the Google adds, also noticed another for fridge repairs just underneath that one. 😉

Did you click them?
If they’re repairers I tend to leave them alone. It’s not GDA as in, GDHA. 😉
It’s actually this, a Thomson Local advert for a local repair company.
