I got fed up seeing the bl00dy Hotpoint/Indesit ones as well, now here.
Most of them are all over the damned internet now anyway so we may as well tell people properly and try to capture the repair work to the guys and spares sales to fund UKW as lose it to idiots.

I’ve banged up a bit of content recently, a lot refreshed as well but this one might come in handy…

I got fed up with everyone posting similar instructions over and over so I wrote this:

It’s diagnostic 101.
Also makes all those “what part do I need to fix it posts” easy to answer as we get emails with the same cr4p in them as well. They all think it’s easy to just tell them (magically) what the problem is.
If you ask me, some “engineers” could be doing with reading it as well. 😉

After a quick glance, 🙂
Washing machine fault codes Line 10 should read ‘engineers OR spares suppliers.
Specific guidance on a washing machine fault Line 12 should be MAIM not main. Line 16 has a T missing from to.
Testing washing machine parts Line 10 has NEED missing between no & at all.
How to test a washing machine 1 One O to many on first line in comes. H missing from machines on 2nd line. Line four equivalent is misspelt. Line 19 machine misspelt, same line has watter in it, line 24, element misspelt,
How to test a washing machine 2 Line 9 , machine misspelt, and again on line 11,
Ordering a washing machine spare part. Line 4 should be advise, not advice.
Apart from a few odd capitals and non sentences thats as much as I can spot after a few Kronenburgs, several glasses of vino and the odd shot of Southern Comfort. 😀

Nope. Cold or something and was (and have been) up since about 6am. Went to the office at 8am. Got home about 5pm. Started on sorting a different section of the site when I got back.
Go in tomorrow to face over 500 emails that need looked at, I cleared up the rest today. 😕
I have had some “medicine” but I’m afraid that tired eyes have kicked in big time. Therefore trying to sift through spelling and grammar errors just ain’t happening. 😉

Sounds like you need some ‘proper medication’ I had a real stinker of a cold this time last year, stayed on my chest for weeks. 🙁
Hope you are soon on the mend, back at the coal face myself in the morning, have to say that sitting at home watching telly for a couple of days seems preferable to going out mending machines but I dare say I would soon get bored with that. 🙂

At last, validation on what I’ve been saying for ages…

I’ve been meaning to do that for weeks and just got to it.
Interesting stuff to see who’s telling porkies.
