Hi,

914604028/00

This machine will begin to operate then stops after approx 8 mins.

the LED display then indicates 0.01 in the window having changed from its program display time.

The ‘no spin’ light is then lit (4th light down of 5).

If the program is set to a cold wash or rinse only it will complete the program. All functions operate ok – circuit through heater and no earth leakage.

I am assuming this is probably to do with the heating circuit and points to the control module.

Can any one confirm this and give me some assurance :rolls:

Are you sure? Smacks of a duff heater to me. Also dryer heater can cause exact same symptoms.

You say you have checked heater insulation – have you checked dryer heater as well as i’ve had some strange faults on these caused by dryer heaters ? and have you tried diagnostics

Maybe once heater is switched on it begins to leak to earth (enough to confuse the electronics but not enough to blow the trip). Remember 40 megohms. See Lux pdf 599352317 p. 84 & p. 86.

Thanks Guys, for your input.

Yes, deffo checked wash heater as it certainly pointed to a heater problem.

Have not checked the dryer heater though.

How do I get into diagnostics please.

black tie formal dress, and shiny shoes. a limo helps, as well as being on the guestlist. otherwise you need to know the bouncer 🙂

start/pause and first button to the left/h/s. turn control knob on to the right. each click round for the first 7or8 tests a circuit function. full instructions are on connect mediator.

beware tho, diagnostics rarely show up wash heater or dryer element faults, and even meggaring can give you a false sense of security. easiest just to disconnect elements and then run it, obviously with terminals suitably isolated as we obviously dont condone live testing 🙂
