KeymasterI was thinking about this. I like my guys to have workwear as it just makes them look better and cleaner and a lot of this game is about impressions as we well know.
Is there any interest in a bulk deal with a supplier if it can be swung?
If so do any of you deal with anyone that would be worth approaching?
I already have asked someone I know but I have no idea on range etc as yet.

KeymasterJohn is looking into this today for us, including trousers and polo shirts, fleeces etc. where we can have the proprietry company logo on one side and the UKW one on the back or something. I’m sure John will report back later.

Thank heavens for that! The knees in my trousers are torn and threadbare and its getting colder out here too 🙄
A thought about the ‘logo’ issue(on clothing) perhaps might be solved by using the UKW symbol together with the name of the company embroidered above. (i.e “Enterprise Service” above the UKW logo and below that logo “www.ukwhitegoods. com MEMBER”)
Just a thought 💡

ParticipantRe: Workwear Deal
I had a chat with the work wear people this morning and got a quote based on my own needs and was told that the price will be reduced if there was a large quantity of orders from UKWG members.
For the one off artwork fee it will cost me £20 to get my name and logo made up.
Classic polo shirts are £5.95 each and come in sizes XS-4XL for 3XL and 4XL add £1.00 to the price
Fleece jackets are £14.00 each in sizes XS to 3Xl for 3XL add £1.00
Work trousers are £8.95 each
To get the garments embroidered there is a minimum order of 8 item though they will do less for a £10 surcharge
The price for the polo shirts and fleeces “includes the embroidery work” which I thought was a very good deal.
The only extra we have to pay is to get the artwork for the UKWG logo made up and it will cost between £0.80 and £1.20 to get this embroidered to each shirt.
If you can post back here with rough numbers required I will go back to the supplier with the artwork and get a firm price.

KeymasterWell I’ll be having:
4 trousers
3 jackets
8 Polo shirtsAll with both the NWAR logo and the UKW one.
I said to John that UKW will pick up the tab to get the UKW artwork done, which is fair I think and after that it’s just a case of requesting it really.
Damn good deal, well done John. 😀
Now, do we offer this to everyone else, i.e. non-subscribers, or not? I think we should really.

As far as I can see they do everything in every colour.
They have a showroom full of all kinds of corporate wear, work wear and safety gear.
