I have searched around for a recent thread regarding silly, priced parts but could not find it.
This article ranks up there with the best.
A circlip ( 6mm in diameter) part No: 9900157 used to secure the door latch pin on Hotpoint WM range costs £3.52 inc Vat. 😯
Needless to say, a rummage around the ‘bit box’ through 37 years of detritus came up with a suitable alternative. 🙂
