Hi

Can anyone recommend an alternative simmerstat. Electru quote sixty odd quid and special order. SIOS shows it £99.00…rediculous 😈 .

The number on the stat is 30ER22MHT. Pt No. 481927328464.

Colour tab on the back should be enough normally Laurence.

There’s only four or five types, depending on, shaft size (gegsy to enter ooooh missus), fixing type (two holes 😯 or nut fixing 😯 😯 ) and how many terminals. Generally blue or yellow signifies single or dual circuit.

This is a long shaft, 2 screws single cct stat.

Don`t quite understand what you meant by `colour tab on back`

Have a look at Connect’s ELE8999 that’s about the cheapest one.

It should go in there OK, the numbers should match even if they aren’t in the same place – S1 S2 P1 etc.

As an aside, does anyone know where I can buy a device that automatically shuts a PC down when alcohol is detected on the breath ? 😆

Ah, it’s a Stoves made one.

Part number 082057300 in that case is the part number, it should be about £20 odd.
