fitted door plastic brakes and metal straps as door was just fallingdown. now the door wont stay shut have taken all baskets out but will close then just pops open does this sound like latch. dont do much with d/w if poss.

If you have taken out the baskets and the door still jumps open then it will more than likely be the hinges that are bent.

I had a problem with a whirlpool DW door popping open recently.
It hadn’t even been used and installed by kitchen fitters in a new house. They had adjusted the feet too much and distorted the cabinet slightly underneath the worktop. Reduced the feet a couple of turns and door shut without further problems…
