w`pool F/I Dishwasher ADG 7540/1 – No Heat.

Normally with w`pool dishwashers we dont normally bother due to their expensive modules, but we have an old customer ( 🙂 )with the above dishwasher. So we thought we`d have a go.

Model ADG 7540/1 – Service No 8542 540 15810

Reported problem – Not washing properly, does not seem to be heating.

Water level seems normal, checked The heater, Pressure microswitch and NTC. all meter ok. Albeit the NTC shows a reading of 8.3k.

That seems to be it, my suspicion is the module which is located in the control panel top r/h.

It should display an error code normally it it won’t heat and abort.

I would think it is but the spray arms are blocked perhaps ?

As you appear to be in the trade Beta, have you asked for trade access ?

Came across this fault a few times when I worked for the W/pool agent.
Every time, no heat and no error code, was a fault with the module, either burnt out module or faulty software. Reprogramming with the SAM cured a few of them, others were replacement module.
As far as I remember the two spade connectors to the module are the wires to the heater, you can check the heater and toc by metering from these connectors.

No error codes, the program runs through to the end.

Spray arms are clear.

Signed into `X`, and forms in post for repairs@. Saw Shaun the other day, with the big green `X` machine.

Hi.

I went out today with a new P.C.B., fitted the part with no result.

Still no heat.

Can anyone advise correct resistance`s for the NTC, i currently read 85kohm @ 15 `c and 39kohm @ 25 `c approx.

Or can anyone give me a clue ???????

NTC resistance:

20C – 58.1K
25C – 47.1K
30C – 38.2K
60C – 11.8K
85C – 4K
