W’pool Top loader – Clutch coupling repacement.. 3RLSQ8000JQ

Please any advice on the best way to tackle replacing the faulty ‘clutch coupling’. Am I best removing the motor or the gearbox? Many thanks in advance. I have never attempted such a repair, do not get a chance to work on many of these beasts!

It has videos and service manuals for down load on American washers etc:
The part numbers are different to Uk but every thing else is useful.
