    Notice to all members…

As from 1st September 2010, all members must adhere to the WTA Code of Practice.

The code can be seen here:

If anyone has any questions about the code, please feel free to contact myself or Lawrence Carey.

    Hi Adrian,

No problem with the WTA Code of Practice and also involved with my local Trading Standard reputable trading scheme.

For the WTA code do we sign anything or how is it monitored?

    Hi Silverbroom,

Monitoring has been one of the biggest dilemma’s we have faced whilst dealing with the OFT. But, for what we get after approval, if they want monitoring, we have to monitor!

The exact procedures will be posted sometime soon, we’re still finalising exact details, but so far, along with customer feedback forms, Amica work & ISE work, it’s pretty much covered.

The main thing is, for now, that all WTA members read / print the COP and start to work to these expected standards as a member, because to re-itterate… The OFT APPROVED Badge, is a massive achievement, and one that IS going to benefit ALL WTA members 🙂

    Adrian.
