“Official” adoption of the COP (which once ratifified will be worth it’s weight in Gold )
Use of WTA logos
the ability to mail to all WTA members
The Kudos of affiliation to the only WTA that has a membership card scheme in placeAll very good points Lawrence, perhaps £200 is too little? Sean had a very good point too with espares ripping the COP!

I suppose that if we started of with £200.00 and there was a decent take up then that would be fine, we could always adjust it as required in the future. We rightly don’t want to sell ourselves too cheaply, but on the other hand frighten off people who could if they so choose, 😉 be of considerable help to us.
PS. Hope you are soon well Lawrence, before Christmas at least. 8)

KeymasterI really don’t know what I think on this. 😕
On the one hand if you do it at £200 it’s a no-brainer and cheaper than the obvious rival with more members. On the other, at say £300, it’s still cheap and makes us look as if we’re taking a bit more from the corps which is good in the eyes of the guys.
It’s a tough one.

I said earlier £200 was a stab in the dark, but after reading Lawrence’s post and Seans post… to me personally, £200 is too cheap! Lawrence has pointed out the main positives of being an associate member, and after reading that, I reckon that £250+ VAT is a more a fair price to pay as an associate. After all, as prevoiusly said, they have alot more money than us, and as per Lawrences post alone, they have alot already for £250 IMO!

I’d agree with Ade on balance.
I think that perhaps £200 is selling ourselves too cheap. I’m hugely swaying to the £300 level as, let’s face it, if you have a few engineers and wanted ID cards for them all you wouldn’t have to try too hard to get up to about £200.
I guess it comes down to this…
Do we want to look cheap?

I think £300 is fine. As we now exceed the membership of ‘cough’ – DASA, then they will be reaching a wider audience of like minded people – the type they want as customers.
Or try the £295 + VAT trick…… 😉 Psychologically much less than £300!!Steve.

As we need to get this sorted sooner rather than later, my official input is £295+ VAT. Can we have a yey or ney from everyone so Ken can advise espares?
