WTK104121A washing machine. About a year old

I have joined this forum as a last resort as I cannot find the error on my washing machine. I have searched and not been able to find issue anywhere.
A few days ago we noticed that the display was having dashes (- – – – – – – ) going around in a anti clockwise direction on the outside of the display screen. It seems to be washing clothes as normal.
My first thought was to check the filter on the front bu tit is perfectly clear. 1 forum said it may be in a program and to turn off.. I turned off at the wall for 12 hours
Hoping someone here has a solution .. Thank you

does this happen as soon as you turn on or only after you start a programme

you say its about a year under or over ?

This could be programmed in to the software on machine like on the hoover washing machines weighing the load and determine the load rinses etc as if the machine is finishing the programme I don’t think this is a issue

It seems to happen near the end of the programmed wash. We have to manually end the program for the door to unlock .. I think we bought it around September.. Was a demo/display machine as there were none left.

surely it must have a warranty

you say the end of the wash
has it completed the whole programme wash, rinses and spin ?

Just checked and it is out of warranty..
It is literally at the end of the wash… Then we have to press stop to get the program to end and door unlocks to open

is this the anti crease function by any chance ?

I don’t know lol… Ashamedly I have never touched it. But I do recall it having anti crease

look in the manual and see if it meets with whats happening. says nothing about display but does say how to proceed when you come back to the machine to end programme and get clothes out
