    Hi, I’m hoping someone can help. I noticed that our freezer never seems to stop running the fan or compressor.

    I took the front cover off and vacuumed out a ton of dust. The ‘fridge temperature reads +4 and the freezer -22 or -23.

    But, it seems like the compressor is running continuously and the freezer temperature is actually more like -27 when I measured it.

    I read that there are various thermistors in this model that can fail – could it be one of those?

    Ah, I posted too soon, please ignore.

    I went back to the freezer and it’s finally switched off. Cleaning out the fluff must have made it happier. The freezer certainly seems to cool to less than the temperature readout says though.
