Just shows you though, if the third party delivery guys were being paid for this and we were not, does that mean that we’re not valued as highly as the delivery man? Then, to cap that nicely, we don’t get paid where they don’t install correctly because they’re not trained to do it, but we are.
If all those associated directly or indirectly within the whitegoods trade were playing on a level playing field these problems wouldn’t arise. And this is yet another case where the self-employed and sub-contractors working for the good of the trade are maligned and short-changed by their paymasters. :rolls:
Just a thought? But come the day, maybe every ancillary whitegoods worker on joining the WTA could expect some form of representation to their concerns and grievances? 😉
