regular customers ring up to book a call & say – “Are you still doing appliance repairs” ?
When you arrive they say they thought I might have retired. Blinking ‘eck, I’m only 55. 👿
Guess a break is due!

I must admit I am getting that far more often these days. 😆

You have to start worrying when you get one like I did a while back.

Customer said she had mentioned to a friend that I was calling and she replied ” Oh, is he still alive “. 😯

I’m kinda proud to announce to customers that I’ve been in the game self employed for over a quarter of a century, although it does make me feel old every time I say it !

You must be doing something right if you survive that long is the way I see it and I feel sorry for friends who’ve had the stress of changing careers / moving home many times in the same period.

You should have replied yes still alive and drop dead gorgeous . 😀

And then added at least that’s what most customers say.
