Hi, I would be grateful for any opinions on the quality of Stoves. I am looking for an induction hob to fit an aperture 640mm wide and they do one – the 700CTI which requires a cut out of 660mm wich would be near enough. However I dont want to buy a pig in a poke.

Stoves are absolutely brilliant. We had a Stoves gas built in oven and hob and they performed very well. Stoves are still a British company, manufacturing their products in Merseyside.

    Hi glengirl,

Glen Dimplex Home Appliances, an Irish company, own Stoves, New World and Belling brands. There is little information on the induction hobs as they’ve not been around long enough and GDHA do their own service so there’s little data or opinion I expect.

Adam, are you on the GDHA payroll? 😉

And for your information Adam the factory is actually based at Prescot and only makes cookers there, no other appliances. I know as I’ve been there.

A good many of the appliances are bought in from various places.

    K.
