Have you checked the safety switch on the condenser access panel?
….or the T/stat in the front drum housing?

the microswitch behind the bottom right hand side of the plinth that indicates when the condensor flap is open is fine.
i cant seem to see a t/stat on the front of the drum,i cant see one listed on connections either, only a NTC temperature probe, will this be in the same place as the thermostat on the older condensor dryers i.e. near the top of the drum front.
If so how do you get to it to test it?when the lid is removed all you can see is a white plastic housing and the PCB cover.
does the front of the machine come off or do you have to remove the drum from the rear?
even the control panel seems a nightmare to get off, is there an easy way.?
when you swith the machine on all that happens is the “time to go” is dislayed and the start light flashes as if it’s ready to go ,but nothing happens when the start button is pressed,is there a matrix behind the switch that breaks, so the button doesn’t make contact with the switch?
any advise will be great.
thanks

Hi John
It will be a broken “light diffuser” which is a frame for the buttons and lights, VERY common part. Correct PNC will get you the right one!

Hi John,
It is part number 1251185300 in stock @ Masterpart £4.20 +.
Located between the fascia panel and module, (it makes contact from the yellow button to the module), fascia off, then remove module WITH housing and all will be revealed. 😉
