Fault code E10 and clothes Steamy and not drying.
On first visit checked water coming in on Dry and removed condenser to clean,
On call back found water comes through condenser untill dryer motor comes on then
Power cuts off from water valve,
PCB,Pressure switch ? Anyone know.
It’s always been the solenoid in the passed.November 24, 2012 at 2:58 pm #385350Seamy

Theres been an issue with the green solenoid for dryer going open circuit.
Might be an idea to change it to see it it cures problem, if you’re lucky you can pop off the coil only & pop another one on, with water off incase of breaking solenoid.November 26, 2012 at 8:33 am #385351pmb

That’s what we normally do, had lots of them,
But this is different, the power cuts off to the valve after the first dryer fill, when the fan kicks in, I think the Zanussi fills all the the way through dry?November 26, 2012 at 11:58 am #385352Martin

From what I can gather you haven’t changed the valve but I would suggest you do and Both seamy and I are pretty sure that’ll sort it.

The coil tends to go o/c after it’s been on for about 10′ then be OK again once it cools. I don’t know how you are measuring “power cutting off” but I think switching of the valve is in neutral.

If it says E12 in diagnostic’s then it has to be the valve for sure.

Changed the valve a week ago, let them. Use it a few times and yes it’s OK now
I have changed a lot of Dryer valve tops but their not working when I check them,
So now I know they can be intermittant,
Thanks for the adviceDecember 12, 2012 at 6:06 pm #385356Martin

Let that be a lesson to all….never fart about stuffing a valve coil on a triple valve. The reason being that the original coil overheated during the time it worked OK but all the while distorted/melted the tube to a point where the metal plunger sticks. Replacing the complete valve assembly the only realistic long term cure.
